2019 Fundraiser ends April 21st!

Here are the details for our 2019 Fundraiser! Our goal is to raise enough funds to purchase a gator and trailer for help with improvements to our fields. Coaches will be passing out these same flyers this week at practice. Great prizes can be won for the player who raises the most money and for the team that raises the most. The fundraiser will run through April 21st.

Hitting Barn Parking
Attention Coaches and parents:

We are no longer permitted to park in the gravel lot near the hitting facility at the high school. Please use the south lot for parking and walk up to the facility.

If school officials find any non-construction vehicles parked in the gravel lot our organization could lose the privilege of using the facility.

Thank you!

Renaming the Midget level to Minors
JBO has issued a notice advising that going forward the Midget level will be referred to as Minors.

This has no affect on rules/regulations of this level of play.
    Letter from our President

    Welcome to Tualatin Youth Baseball!

Tualatin Youth Baseball is pleased to introduce our 2019 baseball season.

We will be continuing our successful and widely popular T-Ball and Pioneer programs with no changes.

Again this year, the rest of our baseball association teams will be playing Junior Baseball in the Clackamas County Junior Baseball Association. Teams are selected by Grade (3rd & 4th Minors, 5th & 6th Juniors, and 7th & 8th Seniors) and skill level (Federal, American, and National) after players try-out and are evaluated.

Junior Baseball provides a framework for youth to develop and refine their basic skills within a team oriented environment. The program stresses continuity in age grouping, competition at equal levels of ability, a progression in playing distances (the fields get bigger as the players progress), and teaches the complete game of baseball (leading off, stealing, and holding runners). Best of all, when it comes time for post season play, a team goes as a unit, without the heartbreak, and sometimes unjust All-Star selection process.

All of our players have the opportunity to advance to District and State tournaments with a chance to succeed at their playing level.

The Tualatin Youth Baseball board continues to evaluate our association to ensure that all players have the greatest opportunity to develop their skill level through clinics, coaching, and league play. If you have suggestions or would like to volunteer to help in any way, please contact a member of the board.

We look forward to seeing you at the ballpark!

    Darrell Pizer
    Tualatin Youth Baseball President
